Jim Williams Clam Falls, WI

Jim is an engineer by training, a tinker by trade, and an artist by desire.

Iron Goat Art Works is his studio and creative center.

His artistic endeavors are varied. Sculptures range from small, personal objects to large, public pieces in metal, found objects, and wood. Photographs are of the natural and manmade worlds and their abstractions. Digital Art includes Cubist vector drawings, adjusted images, and 3D computer objects.

From ten-finger manipulations to binary virtualities, Jim uses conventional and digital tools to create Contemporary Primitive art. These works communicate a present day perspective of basic, relatable themes of human perceptions, actions, and reactions in a structural mix of natural and conceptual forms.

Many of Jim’s art works have been shown in nationally recognized venues. He has also been commissioned by both individuals and corporations to create uniquely themed pieces.

“Wondering, I create. Seeing, I think. Understanding, I wonder.”
